Proactive Personnel Ltd has teamed up with one of the leading Driver CPC training providers to deliver high class and cost effective training for both our drivers and clients. All of the trainers used have between 20 – 40 years’ experience and are still current drivers. We feel that it is important to deliver training in an informative and engaging way whilst interacting with all the drivers throughout the duration of the training. All of the courses delivered are approved by JAUPT which are regularly updated in-line with the ever changing legislation and customer needs.

What is Driver CPC?

Driver CPC stands for Driver certificate of professional competence. It has been developed as a requirement of the EU Directive; it is designed to improve the knowledge and skills of those that driver professionally throughout the UK. The aim is to provide a highly skilled and safe workforce.

Who Does it Affect?

Ultimately nearly all professional PCV and or LGV are affected by the legislation. Those who acquired their licence before 10th September 2008 (PCV) and September 2009 (LGV) are exempt from the initial qualification however they will still need to undertake 35 hours of Periodic Training by 9th September 2013 (PCV) and 9th September 2014 (LGV). All new drivers must obtain the initial qualification in addition to their licence.

Who Knows if I Have Completed My CPC training?

Once you have attended and completed a CPC course your assessor will record this on the Driver CPC Recording & Evidencing System. On completion of 35 hours of periodic training will you be issued with a Driver Qualification Card. This card must then be carried with you at all times when driving professionally. The implications of not completing the required training by the implementation date carry a maximum fine of £1000. You can also be fined a maximum of £1000 if you fail to produce your Driver Qualification Card whilst driving.

How Do I Book A CPC Course Through Proactive Personnel LTD?

Proactive Personnel Ltd is already delivering CPC Courses through-out the West Midlands and The North West Regions; however we are able to offer training at other locations across the UK at reasonable request. With a maximum of 20 per course we operate a first come first served basis. Here at Proactive we understand the need to offer flexibility to our drivers and clients, so we are also able to hold training on Saturdays and Sundays at no extra cost.

The cost of our CPC Training is £60.00 per person. This price includes the upload fee of £8.75. Refreshments are also provided on the day.
